Follow along to see when the beautiful cherry blossoms, magnolias, tulips, and other spring blooms along Wade Lagoon, Severance Music Center, Cleveland Botanical Garden, and throughout The Circle will be fully bloomed.

“Peak bloom” occurs when at least 70% of the blossoms are open. Once open, flowers last from 4-10 days, depending on the weather conditions. Cool, calm weather can extend the bloom period, while warm, unsettled weather can shorten it. The magnolias are even more sensitive to the weather so plan your visit accordingly.

Read this blog post about our favorite places to view the blooms in and around the Circle and follow us on Instagram for up-to-date videos of the spring blooms!

2025 Expected Peak Bloom: Late March/Early April

This is just our best guess based on how the blooms are progressing.

Please refrain from pulling branches and picking off the blooms! We want to keep the beauty intact for all to enjoy.

March 13 Update

The cherry blossoms at Wade Lagoon are showing noticeable growth, with buds beginning to swell and take shape. While we’re not quite at bloom yet, the warmer days ahead should help speed things along.

The magnolia trees near the Cleveland Museum of Art and Severance Music Center are also advancing, with their buds becoming more defined. It won’t be long before we see the first signs of color.
