Stay up-to-date on how the Spring blooms are looking by checking out our tracker.
Fine Arts Garden (Wade Lagoon) & The Cleveland Museum of Art
It's virtually impossible to look for Spring blooms and not stop at The Cleveland Museum of Art's property! Wade Lagoon is lined with flowering Cherry Blossoms, the Fine Arts Garden has Daffodils and Snowdrops blooming all over, and against the back entrance to the museum are beautiful Magnolia trees!
Severance Music Center
If it's even possible, Severance Music Center becomes more spectacular in the Spring. All around the building you'll find Magnolia and Cherry Blossom trees, among plenty of flowers.
Cleveland Botanical Garden
Being a botanical garden, there's always something in bloom here. But in the spring, you'll find numerous Tulips and other flowers planted outside. You can see what's in bloom via their It's Poppin' blog.
Nearby Places to See Spring Blooms
Lake View Cemetery
Home to the "Daffodil Hill," you'll find over 10,000 Daffodils planted at the Lake View Cemetery. Cherry Blossoms, Magnolias, and other Spring flowers line the roads. While you're there, explore the historic cemetery and find notable Clevelanders buried there, such as John D. Rockefeller and President James A. Garfield.
Rockefeller Park Greenhouse
This free-to-visit greenhouse has tons of Tulips in all colors bloom in its outdoor gardens every year. On your way to or from the greenhouse, be sure to explore the Cleveland Cultural Gardens.
Tips for Visiting University Circle in the Spring
- If you want to avoid the crowds, your best bet is to come in the early morning or late evening, where you'll likely only run into photographers.
- The best place to park to see the blooms is either the museum garages or metered street parking along Wade Oval Drive or East Blvd. Free (very limited) street parking can be found on MLK Jr. Drive closer to the Maltz Performing Arts Center.
