University Circle is once again nominated for Best Arts District in the USA TODAY 10BEST Readers’ Choice Awards, marking several consecutive years of national recognition for Cleveland’s top cultural district.

The annual Readers’ Choice Awards celebrate top destinations, institutions, and experiences across the country, selected by a panel of experts and voted on by the public. University Circle previously earned the top spot in 2021, when it was named the #1 Arts District in the United States.

Public voting is now open and will continue through Monday, February 16 at 11:59 a.m. EST. Readers may vote once per day. The top 10 winners will be announced on Wednesday, February 25 at noon EST. The public can cast their vote for University Circle at https://10best.usatoday.com/awards/university-circle-cleveland-ohio/.

“Being nominated again is a testament to the incredible concentration of arts, culture, education, and public spaces that make University Circle such a special place,” said Kate Borders, President of University Circle Inc. “This recognition belongs to our world-class institutions, our residents, and the visitors who return again and again to experience everything the Circle has to offer.”

University Circle stands out as an arts district because of its rare concentration of globally recognized cultural institutions paired with a deep commitment to public access. Anchored by museums, performing arts venues, universities, and community-centered public spaces, the district offers year-round programming that ranges from major exhibitions and performances to free festivals, outdoor concerts, and neighborhood-based experiences. This blend of world-class arts, walkability, and inclusive programming makes University Circle not just a destination, but a living cultural neighborhood.
