Wade Oval Wednesdays 2025: Season Highlights

Another summer, another season of WOW! Wade Oval Wednesdays filled with music, food, and community in the heart of University Circle. From June 18 through August 20, the Oval was alive every Wednesday evening with thousands of people gathering to enjoy one of Cleveland’s favorite traditions.

WOW! drew more than 39,700 guests this year, nearly a 10% increase from 2024. Families, friends, and neighbors filled the Oval week after week, no matter what band was playing.

The lineup of bands brought people to their feet, while the addition of new roaming performers kept the crowd entertained all night long. The food trucks and vendors were another highlight, serving everything from barbecue and jerk chicken to vegan comfort food, tacos, and ice cream.

WOW! is powered by partnerships that make the event possible. University Hospitals provided on-site medics once again, the Cleveland Public Library shared resources with its Tech Van and Book Box, Plexus helped us put on an incredible LGBTQ+ Pride Night and the Cleveland Cultural Gardens helped us put on a phenomenal International Night. And none of this would've been possible without the support of our presenting sponsor, First National Bank.

This summer reminded us why WOW! has become such a Cleveland tradition: it’s where music, food, and community meet. Thank you to everyone who attended, partnered, or supported the season.
