Join us for a community performance in partnership with the University Circle Police Department, showcasing the culmination of the Inspiration Through Music: Community Ensemble Program, an 8-week initiative from the Center for Arts-Inspired Learning (CAL). Throughout the program, University Circle Police Department officers (Gloria Mercado, Alanna Smith, Drayy Wilkerson, and Aurielle Gilmore) and a little over 10 Cleveland youth in grades 3 through 8 have built musical skills, learned side by side in a small ensemble, and developed meaningful connections through music, strengthening bonds between youth and officers. This final performance celebrates their growth, collaboration, and shared experience, highlighting the power of music to bring people together across generations.
