University Circle is proud to see a growing number of individuals with deep ties to our district recognized as part of Cleveland Public Library’s Cleveland 230.

Created in honor of Cleveland’s 230th birthday, the Cleveland 230 celebrates individuals—past and present—who embody the One Cleveland spirit and have made a lasting impact on our city.

University Circle has long brought together leaders in arts and culture, education, health, innovation, philanthropy and community service. The influence of their work extends well beyond the Circle, strengthening Cleveland and helping shape its future.

Cleveland Public Library will reveal a new honoree every day through the end of 2026. As the list grows, we invite you to discover the University Circle leaders being recognized—and the many other remarkable people who have helped make Cleveland what it is today.
