Child Safety Initiative: Safety Seat Installation
Posted on 07/16/24 by Tom in University Circle Police Department
The University Circle Police Department recently sent Lieutenant Steve Brady and Officer Drayy Wilkerson to a four day training class on how to properly install child restraint seats. There is a lot more to this than meets the eye. Based on different models for different ages and different types of vehicles, it is important to make sure your child’s restraint seat is safely applied to provide maximum protection and security. Upon completion of the training, both officers were certified as Child Passenger Safety Technicians.
We have now started the “Child Safety Initiative – Safety Seat Installation” which is a free service where we will assist drivers safely install their child restraint seats. It is all part of our commitment to helping make our University Circle home a safe place to live and travel.
This service is offered by appointment only and can be scheduled through Lieutenant Steve Brady at 216-791-2444.
Thank you and drive safe. Lots of lives depend on it.
