CirclEats: Piccadilly Artisan Creamery & Vintage Tea and Coffee

We recently visited some old friends in new spaces, and new friends sharing spaces – Piccadilly Artisan Creamery and Vintage Tea & Coffee! Piccadilly recently moved to the corner storefront space of their building on Euclid Avenue, and welcomed new tenant, Vintage Tea & Coffee, who shares the space! Vintage Tea & Coffee recently relocated their downtown location to Uptown in University Circle, and we couldn’t be happier for some new neighbors (and the opportunity for delicious affogato, of course).
Piccadilly Artisan Creamery, in business for about 5 years in Uptown, focuses on their passion for good food and high-quality foodsourcing. “Where we source our food is really important to us, so when we started the business, we began a partnership with two farms in Amish country, sourcing high-quality milk from Guernsey cows.” notes Adrian Bota, owner of Piccadilly. Not only do they focus on high-quality ingredients, but they also put a lot of thought into the customer's experience when ordering their treats. “Everything is made with liquid nitrogen. Not only does this make for a creative experience, but it minimizes the formation of ice crystals in the treat, allows all of the ingredients to remain extremely fresh, and the customer is able to customize their treats on the spot, making for a really fun and exciting experience.”
The hand-crafting doesn’t stop there! Take a step to the right, and customers are able to order from Vintage Tea & Coffee, the newest addition to the storefront, offering a wide variety of specialty tea and coffee! Jeff recently relocated the original Downtown location here to University Circle, to partner with Adrian on a welcoming, collaborative space to meld their businesses together for a really creative space.
Similar to Piccadilly, owner Jeff Su focuses heavily on the quality of not only the coffee beans and tea leaves, but the other ingredients used to make specialty beverages. He and Adrian both source their milk products from the same farms in Amish country! When asked about sharing the space, and joining forces, Jeff mentioned, “We really want to bring something unique, Adrian and I. Students can come in for coffee and have a place to study, area workers can stop in for an afternoon treat or caffeinated pick-me-up, and we welcome anyone coming to the Circle to enjoy the many institutions to pop in and enjoy delicious treats, as part of their experience in University Circle.”
When asked what were each of the owners’ favorite menu items from each of their lists, they coincidentally chose the affogato, fresh espresso poured atop a cup of Piccadilly ice cream – a fusion of both businesses, married together in a caffeinated, yet deliciously sweet treat. Not only can we attest to this delicious combination, but the welcoming nature of their shop! From the beautiful tables, to the board games and larger spots to host a meeting, this joint effort in Uptown is a great option to meet up with friends, spend an afternoon studying or working, or play a fun game with your family.
Stop in to the shop today to enjoy a wide variety of customizable sweet treats and caffeinated beverages. The shop is located at 11607 Euclid Avenue, and parking is available directly outside, at the corner of Euclid Avenue & E. 115thStreet.
