University Circle Opens its Doors at the 2nd Annual Showcase in the Circle & Circle Home Tour

Cleveland, OH – The best of University Circle’s businesses, nonprofits, and housing will be on display at the 2nd Showcase in the Circle & Circle Home Tour. Coordinated by University Circle Inc. (UCI) and the Uptown Partners Business Association (UPBA), this event is free and open to the public, and is designed to literally “showcase” the fact that University Circle and its surrounding neighborhoods are not only a great place to visit, but a great place to live, work, and do business.

The Showcase will take place at Judson Manor, located at 1890 East 107th Street. On Thursday, September 15th, from 3:00-7:00 p.m., visitors will have the opportunity to mingle with more than 50 exhibitors, ranging from small businesses to financial institutions to nonprofits to the world class museums that call University Circle home. Light refreshments will be served and a cash bar will be available.

At 5:00 p.m., Lolly the Trolley will arrive at Judson Manor to pick visitors up for the first of four timed Circle Home Tours. Other trolleys will depart 5:30, 6:00, and 6:30 p.m. The tour will last approximately 2 to 2.5 hours and will include stops at Heritage Lane, the PNC SmartHome, the Hawken School Sally & Bob Gries Center, Circle 118, and Tudor Arms by DoubleTree. The Trolleys will also drive by the PNC SmartHome's permanent location on Wade Park Avenue, as well as the Uptown development along Euclid Avenue.

“We are very excited to be bringing the Showcase in the Circle back for a 2nd year, in what will be an even bigger and more comprehensive show,” said Chris Ronayne, president of UCI. “Not only will this expo showcase the Circle’s world class institutions alongside local business owners from University Circle and its neighboring communities, it will also provide attendees with a chance to hop on a Lolly the Trolley for the opportunity to visit different living options in University Circle.”

The 2nd Showcase in the Circle and Circle Home Tour is presented by the Charter One Foundation with additional support from Medical Mutual, Marous Brothers Construction, and Krueger Grealis & Associates Inc.
