Join us at The Sculpture Center for Crossing Borders, Preserving Futures, a compelling panel discussion exploring the intersections of immigration, indigeneity, futurity, undocumentedness, and resistance. Inspired by the themes and new works in XOXAL: baño de fuego | XOXAL: shower of fire, the current exhibition by artist Federico Cuatlacuatl, this conversation invites reflection on the resilience of migrant communities and the ways in which “smuggling” indigeneity across borders becomes an act of self-preservation, resistance, and envisioning alternative futures.
