Celebrate long summer days and hot summer nights at the museum’s 14th annual Solstice—a night when art and music come together. This year, Solstice’s main stage features a lot of brass instruments and horn sections, with live music sets from Da Land Brass Band (Cleveland), Balkan Paradise Orchestra (Spain), El Laberinto del Coco (Puerto Rico), and Mexican Institute of Sound (Mexico). It’s a Vibe, one of Cleveland’s favorite dance parties, takes over the atrium and showcases DJ sets from Sound on Tape, Corey Grand, and Knyce. Projections, light displays, and decorations electrify the museum. Members from the Ninth Avenue Street Circus are also making a special appearance. The galleries stay open late into the night, and some of them host flash talks presented by museum staff. In addition, guests can experience portions of the CMA’s blockbuster exhibition, Takashi Murakami: Stepping on the Tail of a Rainbow.
Tickets are $150. The all-inclusive ticket covers admission as well as unlimited food and beverages, including beer, wine, and canned cocktails. This event is for guests 21 or older.
