The musical documentary spans genres and decades, from pristine reproductions of famed concerts to in-depth looks “behind the music,” following artists as they create in real time, to the musical biopic and the virtuosic performances the medium has inspired. We will explore the inner-workings of the music documentary, analyzing concert performances, behind-the-scenes footage of your favorite artists creating their greatest hits, and more!
