BlueWater Chamber Orchestra is pleased to announce its 2023-24 concerts, “A Season of Superb Soloists,” featuring world-class artists who tour internationally, yet call Cleveland home or are connected here in paramount ways. All four concerts will be held at 7:30 pm at Church of the Covenant in the heart of University Circle, 11205 Euclid Avenue. Artistic Director Daniel Meyer will be on the podium for the performances.
BlueWater Chamber Orchestra concerts are family friendly and played without intermission. The Church of the Covenant is wheelchair accessible.
Saturday, October 7, 2023 highlights the President of Piano Cleveland as Yaron Kolhberg Plays Shostakovich. Mr. Kohlberg will perform the First Piano Concerto of Dmitri Shostakovich, with CIM Artist Diploma student Austin Cruz playing the prominent trumpet solo. Also on the program are the Danses Concertante of Stravinsky and Mahler’s arrangement of movements from Bach’s Orchestral Suites.
