REGISTER for a 6-week Movement/Dance Residency with Inlet Dance Theatre
Grants received by University Circle’s Education Department will bring creativity in many forms to the residents that attend community programs. Funders include the National Endowment for the Arts and Cleveland Foundation and will bring arts & culture to our neighborhood’s seniors. Through June 2023, there will be opportunities for participation in community-based artists residencies, bookclubs, attending museum exhibits and programs & performances with Inlet Dance Theatre and Karamu House.
Beginning on Tuesday, October 4th from 2 – 4 pm, Inlet Dance Theatre will be in residence at Fairhill Partners for 6 weeks working with active seniors in storytelling & movement. This creative opportunity is FREE and will include conversations around the dance-making process and attaching our personal stories to movement over the 6 weeks. There is space for 10-15 people to participate in this community-arts residency, so please sign-up soon! We'll learn about dance and movement and include tickets to Inlet Dance Theatre’s performances at Cleveland Public Theatre in Spring, 2023.
