The event will be Friday, February 5 and will feature keynote speaker Heather McGhee. McGhee is a public policy expert who designs and promotes solutions to inequality in America. She will be sharing timely insights from her forthcoming book, The Sum of Us: What Racism Costs Everyone and How We Can Prosper Together.

The virtual MLK Convocation will be presented live online. Registration is requested on our website, case.edu/events/mlk, in order to obtain the streaming link.

Heather McGhee is a public policy expert who designs and promotes solutions to inequality in America. McGhee's forthcoming book, The Sum of Us: What Racism Costs Everyone and How We Can Prosper Together, explores the true cost of racism as the common denominator of our most troubling public problems, and offers a crucial rethink on what we can do to create a more prosperous nation for all.
