Race to Empower - Virtual Run!

UCP is excited to announce that Race to Empower has gone VIRTUAL for 2020! This will support community-wide social distancing efforts in order to keep everyone healthy.
What does "virtual" mean?
It means you can race anywhere (your neighborhood, the Metroparks, a treadmill, or any place you prefer) on your own or with family and friends, all while helping to raise funds for UCP! You have from now until July 31st to complete your selected race distance at your leisure.
Registration is $25. Kids under the age of 10 are FREE with no t-shirt (optional to purchase a shirt for $10).
As part of your registration, you will receive a race packet, which includes a custom short-sleeve shirt, race bib and goody bag! We will have two separate packet pick-up dates depending on when you register. Packet pick-up will be available at Feet Fleet Westlake, Fleet Feet Pepper Pike, or a curbside pickup from UCP (everyone must stay in cars and volunteers will run packets/shirts to them).
- Everyone who registers by June 16 will be able to pick up your packet on Saturday, June 27 (times to be determined).
- Everyone who registers between June 17 and July 31 will be able to pick up your packet in August (date and time to be determined).
Once you have completed the race, you can email your finish time to Haleigh from Hermes Sports & Events at hbartlett@hermescleveland.com to be added to the finishers page. (This is optional but encouraged so that they are aware of your participation!)
UCP will miss seeing your smiling faces crossing the finish line, so please send your race photos, videos, and stories to share on social media! You can email your photos/videos to Emily at ehastings@ucpcleveland.org or, simply post them on social media using the hashtags #UCPCLE and #UCPRaceToEmpower.
Please continue to check the race website for updated information. UCP has extended registration through July 31st so please encourage your friends and family to register! All race questions can be directed to roadracing@hermescleveland.com.
