YAY! Fall Fun Returns to Wade Oval in University Circle

CLEVELAND, September 9, 2025 - University Circle Inc. (UCI) invites families, friends, and neighbors from across Northeast Ohio to join in the seasonal festivities at YAY! Fall Fun, taking place on Saturday, October 19, 2025, from 1:00 to 6:00 p.m. on Wade Oval.

This free, family-friendly event transforms Wade Oval into a colorful celebration of fall, complete with local food vendors, live music and entertainment, activities with Greater Cleveland institutions, and so much more.

“YAY! Fall Fun is a true community effort. Dozens of incredible partners come together to offer free programming, making memories for thousands of families across the region,” said Heidi Hudak, Chief Marketing and Experiences Officer at UCI. “University Circle Inc. is proud to create an experience that welcomes families, celebrates our partners, and shows off the incredible cultural assets of University Circle.”

Event highlights include:

• Costume Parade: Families can showcase their creativity in their favorite costumes.
• Educational Zones: Four interactive areas designed to engage and educate families and kids K-8.
  • STEM Zone: Hands-on science experiments and creative activities
  • Arts & Culture Zone: Live performances and artistic endeavors
  • Discovery Zone: Activities focused on nature and history
  • Play Zone: An open-air area with games and activities for all ages
• The event will end with an outdoor movie showing of Hotel Transylvania starting at 4:30 p.m.

YAY! Fall Fun will also feature participation from local institutions and organizations, including The Music Settlement, NASA Glenn GVIS, the Cleveland History Center, The Cleveland Orchestra, The Cleveland Museum of Art, Sears think[box], and so many more, all of whom will provide engaging activities and performances throughout the day.

Sheffia Randall-Nickerson, UCI’s Chief Engagement and Collaboration Officer, had this to say about the event, “We had such a great time last year- kids, parents, neighbors, and visitors. My own family came and stayed the whole day doing fun educational activities, having a great time in the play zone, then hanging out for the movie. Even my 12-year-old dressed up for the costume parade and had a ball! I'm so glad we get to bring YAY! Fall Fun back this year!”
