WOW! Wade Oval Wednesdays Announces Summer Lineup

University Circle Inc. (UCI) announced the lineup of WOW! Wade Oval Wednesdays this summer, made possible by PNC Bank. The event features nine free concerts taking place on Wednesday evenings from 5:30-8:30 p.m., June 14 through Aug. 16.

“Northeast Ohio’s favorite concert in a park returns for an action-packed summer,” said David Robinson, UCI’s Director of Events & Engagement. “This season brings back crowd favorites with new experiences, like dueling pianos and Double Dutch performers. Those of all ages will find plenty to explore in the Circle!”

The 2023 WOW! Wade Oval Wednesdays lineup features a mix of crowd-pleasing favorites and amazing new talent representing multiple musical genres:

Opening acts featuring up-and-coming local talent, and intermission acts will accompany many shows. Returning for a second year are four cultural celebration nights that highlight Cleveland’s diverse communities, including Juneteenth (June 14), LGBTQ+ Pride (June 21; an Official Community Event of Pride in the CLE®), Disability Pride (July 26) and Latinx Heritage (Aug. 9).

The PNC Mobile Learning Adventure will visit WOW July 26 and Aug. 2. The traveling exhibit provides an opportunity for parents and caregivers to learn about the importance of early childhood education while they engage in fun activities with their children. The MLA is a part of PNC Grow Up Great®, a $500 million, multi-year initiative that began in 2004 designed to help prepare children from birth to age 5 for success in school and life.

Throughout the season, attendees can look forward to the return of local food trucks and vendors, the beer & wine garden and kid-friendly activities.
