Cleveland Botanical Garden hosts 7th Annual Sustainability Symposium

CLEVELAND, Ohio -- Vegetable gardening has surged in the past decade or so, from backyard gardeners to groups growing food in community gardens to feed the needy. So, where do we go from here? We get better at it, say local experts. On Saturday, Feb. 4, the Cleveland Botanical Garden hosts the 7th Annual Sustainability Symposium, with the theme "Eat Your Yard." The focus is on healthy, organic food, and becoming familiar with "permaculture," a concept and global movement that began in the 1970s.
