Featuring artists and creatives Ewuresi Archer, Nathalie Bermudez, Orlando Caraballo, Laura Camila Medina, James Negron, Maya Peroune, Dante Rodriguez, Oliver C. St. Clair, Ariel Vergez, Otelia Vergez and Gina Washington. The popular proverb, “home is where the heart is,“ is frequently used to express the sentiment that home is so much more than a physical location. Shown alongside Edra Soto’s exhibition "La Casa de Todos | Everyone’s Home," "La Casa Compartida" showcases a group of eleven artists and creatives from the Cleveland community who have known both the joy and the pain of migration. This exhibition reflects on personal identity and familial and chosen relationships within the household, featuring the faces of those who become witnesses to our lives and in turn, bring life to the places we hold dear to our hearts.
