Join us on Sunday, November 10, 2024 at 2:00 pm as "Veteran Photographers Speak on Veteran's Day Weekend". This event is part of the "Coffee and Conversations about History" series, and it will take place in the reception area adjacent to the African American History Gallery. Our featured speakers are Charles Jackson Pinkney, a US military veteran and professional artist, and Mychal Lilly, a veteran photographer who has spent approximately 40 years documenting life and culture in America. Both speakers are natives of Greater Cleveland. These veteran photographers are also featured in the current exhibition, History in Their Hands: Black Photographers in Cleveland, Ohio 1968 to Present.
Admission is free, but advance registration is required as seating for this intimate discussion is limited to 30 guests.
