The sport of cycling has one of our favorite disciplines, a criterium, or “crit,” for short. This sport features a bike race consisting of several laps around a closed course with each lap ranging from 400 meters to 10,000 meters. The mass start event requires cyclists to compete for a predetermined amount of time or a set number of laps.
Even though we believe everyone is a winner at the 2024 Pan-American Masters Games, bragging rights and a medal go to the first rider who crosses the crit’s finish line without having been “lapped.”

- Men’s: 30+, 35+, 40+, 45+, 50+, 55+, 60+, 65+, 70+, 75+, 80+, 85+, 90+, 95+
- Women’s: 30+, 35+, 40+, 45+, 50+, 55+, 60+, 65+, 70+, 75+, 80+, 85+, 90+, 95+

Wade Oval is one of northeast Ohio’s premier public spaces, home to events year-round! Amenities at the park include a seven-acre park, the Kulas Community Stage (100′ wide and 20′ deep), and on-site access to water and electricity. The criterium route can be found below:
