Hours & Admission
Please note the new hours and ticket prices for the 2023-24 season. The Rink at Wade Oval is open Friday, December 1 through Sunday, February 25.
Check-in and ticket purchases are now located at the Wade Oval Information Center.
- Fridays - Sundays, 1:00-8:00 p.m.
- Christmas Eve & New Year's Eve, 1:00-5:00 p.m.
- Christmas Day & New Year's Day, CLOSED
- Presidents Day & MLK Day, 1:00-8:00 p.m.
Open DAILY Monday, December 18 through Sunday, December 31 from 1:00-8:00 p.m.
Tickets are $5 BEFORE 5:00 p.m. and $10 AFTER 5:00 p.m. (the $10 includes access to special programming)
All tickets include skate rentals. Largest size: men's 14 | smallest size: toddler's 9
Holiday snacks, hot beverages, adult beverages, and more are available for purchase at the Wade Oval Information Center.
Pink the Rink
Celebrate Valentine's Day at The Rink with special programming and decorations.
Friday, February 16-Sunday, February 18: Valentine's Day
- Horse and carriage rides, 5:00-8:00 p.m. all weekend
- Candy making with The Bom Parties, Friday & Saturday, 5:00-8:00 p.m.
Work in University Circle?
If you work at the Cleveland Clinic, University Hospitals, a university, a museum, or a Uptown business, join us every Friday from 2:00-4:30 p.m. for FREE skating at The Rink! Simply show your badge, business card, or ID.
New to Ice Skating?
Every Saturday from 1:00-2:00 p.m., join us for a free ice skating lesson at The Rink! Pre-registration is not required. Lessons will not occur on December 23 or December 30.
Skaters Code of Responsibility
By purchasing a ticket and skating on The Rink at Wade Oval, you agree to abide by the Code of Responsibility.
Refunds
No refunds are issued unless advanced tickets are purchased and the Rink at Wade Oval closes due to weather or maintenance. Any request for refunds must be submitted by email to events@universitycircle.org.
Refunds will not be issued if you are unhappy with the ice. An outdoor rink will never be as smooth as an indoor rink.
On rare occasions, the Rink staff may issue a refund if skate sizes are unavailable after purchase. Customers must notify the Rink staff within 10 minutes of purchase if their skate size is unavailable.
