BlueWater Chamber Orchestra is pleased to announce its 2023-24 concerts, “A Season of Superb Soloists,” featuring world-class artists who tour internationally, yet call Cleveland home or are connected here in paramount ways. All four concerts will be held at 7:30 pm at Church of the Covenant in the heart of University Circle, 11205 Euclid Avenue. Artistic Director Daniel Meyer will be on the podium for the performances.
BlueWater Chamber Orchestra concerts are family friendly and played without intermission. The Church of the Covenant is wheelchair accessible.
On Friday, November 17, 2023 violinist Jinjoo Cho makes her long awaited return to BlueWater when Jinjoo Cho Plays Barber. Her recent performances of the Violin Concerto by Samuel Barber have been described as “sublime’ and “magical” with a “fiery, swift” finale. The all-American program also features the Adagio for string orchestra by Cindy McTee, and Aaron Copland’s Appalachian Spring Suite for full orchestra.
