This is a virtual conversation exploring the often overlooked history of Black artists who have chosen to use abstraction in their work to varying degrees. It will be a casual conversation between renown collector of African American Art, Kerry Davis, and Cleveland Institute of art Associate professor Dr David C. Hart. Hart will lead the discussion using images from the Kerry & C. Betty Davis Collection. The presentation is free and open to all, and will be followed by a Q & A session with the audience.
