Holiday CircleFest is BACK for the 28th year!

All are invited to share in a day of festive fun on Wade Oval and at organizations around the neighborhood.

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS ON WADE OVAL

• Noon-7:00 p.m. - Skate on the fresh ice at The Rink at Wade Oval (free admission for Holiday CircleFest - tickets must be reserved at universitycircle.org/rink)
• Noon-7:00 p.m. - Grab a bite to eat from one of Cleveland's famous food trucks
• Noon-6:00 p.m. - Officers from the University Circle Police Department will be on Wade Oval accepting donations for the Cops in the Community program. Proceeds will be used to purchase hats, gloves, and scarves for local school children.
• 1:00-2:30 p.m. - Visit with Mr. Jingeling at The Rink at Wade Oval. As Keeper of the Keys for Santa, Mr. Jingeling will be passing out 100 keys to his first visitors.
• 1:00-6:00 p.m. - Watch ice carvers transform solid blocks of ice into works of art at the top of each hour
• 1:00-7:00 p.m. - Shop for everyone on your list at the outdoor Holiday Market
• 1:00-7:00 p.m. - Enjoy a leisurely ride around Wade Oval in a horse-drawn carriage
• 2:00-6:00 p.m. - Take photos with Santa and Mrs. Claus on RTA’s Holiday Trolley
• 3:30-6:30 p.m. - Music by Sheela & The Others, playing your favorite hits from the 60s & 70s, plus holiday tunes throughout the day
• 5:00-7:00 p.m. - Explore fire displays & winter lanterns

University Circle’s museums will welcome guests and offer holiday exhibits, activities, performances, and shopping.

• The Cleveland Museum of Art - free activities in the Atrium from 12-4 pm and discounted admission to the Impressionism to Modernism: The Keithley Collection.
• Cleveland Botanical Garden - explore the new Twinkle in the 216 exhibit! The Cleveland Orchestra Children's Chorus will be performing at CBG at 3:00 p.m.
• Cleveland Museum of Natural History - offering discounted admission (tickets MUST be reserved in advanced). Free admission if you are a Cleveland or East Cleveland resident.
• Cleveland History Center - offering discounted admission.

Phoenix Rising

University Circle Inc. is thrilled to partner with Ingenuity Cleveland to bring Phoenix Rising to Wade Oval. First created as part of the Cuyahoga 50 celebration in remembrance of the 1969 Cuyahoga River Fire, Phoenix Rising is a testament of hope and rebirth. As the final chapter of Holiday CircleFest closes, Phoenix Rising is the perfect symbol for the rebirth of winter at Wade Oval with new experiences and events coming in 2023.

Please note - traffic will be one-way around the Oval going clockwise around Wade Oval Drive (vehicle traffic flows from CBG heading towards CMNH. East Blvd maintains two way traffic).

University Circle is easily accessible by car from all directions. For driving directions to our University Circle Visitor Center use Google Maps to map your own route. Before you leave, check our Map for available parking locations and our Transportation Alerts Page.

Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority (RTA) operates six (6) bus routes, plus the Euclid Avenue Health Line (bus rapid transit) and the Red Line (heavy rail) routes to and through the district. Use the Transit app for real-time bus and train info on the go. Purchase your ticket at a HealthLine or rapid station or use the RTA CLE app.

The BlueLink connects Wade Oval, Uptown, Little Italy and Coventry, and provides access to the Little Italy - University Circle Red Line Station. BlueLink shuttles arrive every 30 minutes 12:00pm - 6:00pm weekends.
