The Cleveland Museum of Natural History is pleased to offer a new program aimed at discussing, acting on, and educating people about climate change. The month of May will focus on composting, a key to drawing down carbon from the atmosphere back to where it belongs—in the soil. Join us and Tilth Soil on Saturday, May 21st from 10:30-12:30 we're we'll meet the microbes that make compost, explore the impact of soil carbon and water vapor on the greenhouse effect, learn why drawing down carbon is about more than just reducing atmospheric CO2 concentration, and get acquainted with the principles of building a home compost pile.
