Join the Cleveland Museum of Natural History and The City of Cleveland for the first event in our Climate Action Series. The City of Cleveland has set a goal to reduce greenhouse-gas emissions by 80% of 2010 emission levels by 2050. As part of the Museum’s Climate Action Series, learn from Cathi Lehn, Ph.D., Sustainable Cleveland Manager with the City of Cleveland Mayor’s Office of Sustainability, what actions the city, its partners, and its residents are taking to reach this goal. One important step toward reducing emissions is to transition from Cleveland's current linear economy to one that is more circular. We can make progress on this step by reducing waste and pollution through product reuse, repair, and more. Learn about Circular Cleveland and what you can do to take action at home, at work, and in your community.
This event will be virtual and take place on April 16th at 11:00 AM. Tickets are donation based. Those who register for this program will receive a 15% discount on all Museum natural areas field trips offered in April 2022 and on any other Climate Action Series event. You must register first for Climate Change in Cleveland in order to receive your discount code. You can learn more here: https://www.cmnh.org/calendar/climate-change-in-cleveland
