Join us as we ramble around the Museum's sprawling Sawdust Preserve. We'll skirt wetlands and wander headwater streams, looking for dragonflies, crayfish, other invertebrates, and anything else that catches our eyes and ears. Birds abound in the large blocks of upland forest and in the swampy stands of hemlock; Hermit Thrush, Least Flycatcher, Brown Creeper, Winter Wren, and Northern Waterthrush and other warblers have all been observed at the site.
