“Polka Skate” at The Rink at Wade Oval, featuring the Chardon Polka Band
Saturday, December 1
Shop for unique and one-of-a-kind gifts at the Holiday Markets. The Holiday Market is University Circle's outdoor shopping experience!
Lace up your skates and enjoy The Rink at Wade Oval, with a free learn-to-skate lesson at 12:00 p.m.
Take a leisurely ride on a horse-drawn carriage, take your picture with Santa, and watch as ice carvers transform solid blocks of ice into works of art.
Enjoy a steel drum performance by students from Oberlin College from 2:00 - 3:00 p.m.
From 5:60 - 6:30 p.m., enjoy a performance by Cleveland's own Singing Angels on Wade Oval!
Fire Art by Fire and Light Performing Arts will light up the sky around Wade Oval with a performance from 6:30 - 7:30.
Sunday, December 2
From 1:00-5:30 p.m., more than a dozen of University Circle’s renowned museums, gardens, galleries, churches, and schools open their doors free of charge and offer an afternoon of activities, music, food, fun, and shopping. Visitors can look forward to live performances from talented musicians, craft making, historic displays of holiday toys, storytelling, the city’s best gingerbread house competition, and much more.
Outside, Wade Oval becomes Cleveland’s Central Park with the Holiday Market, food and beverages, ice carving demonstrations, horse drawn carriage rides, photos with Santa, and The Rink at Wade Oval.
From 1:00 - 5:00 p.m., enjoy a beautiful musical performance from Chris Allen & Friends!
At 5:30 p.m., the activities will conclude with The Cleveland Museum of Art’s dramatic Winter Lights Lantern Procession.
FREE Holiday CircleFest Shuttle
Getting around Holiday CircleFest is easy with the free shuttle bus! Simply hop on where you see the red signs, ride the shuttle to your desired destination, then hop off. A full loop on the shuttle takes approximately 30 minutes. A map and a list of shuttle stops can be found in the program.
FREE Neighborhood Circulator
Sunday, December 3, Noon-6:30 p.m.
Residents and visitors in Fairfax, Glenville, and Hough can get to Holiday CircleFest with the newly added neighborhood circulator. Stops include InterContinental Hotel in Fairfax, Fatima Family Center in Hough, and Cleveland Public Library Langston Hughes Branch in Glenville. Free parking is provided at all three neighborhood stops. Special thanks to Famicos Foundation for their partnership in this effort.
Ride the CircleLink to the Little Italy Holiday Art Walk
Take the CircleLink to Little Italy and explore its shops, galleries, and restaurants during the Holiday Art Walk. CircleLink is a free circulator service that runs throughout the neighborhood. To get to Little Italy, hop on a CircleLink bus at the Cleveland Museum of Natural History, Cleveland Museum of Art, on Ford Road, or at the Little Italy-University Circle Red Line Rapid Station. A full loop on the CircleLink takes approximately 30 minutes. A map can be found in the program.
