Experience Cleveland’s cultural treasures free of charge at the 24th Annual Holiday CircleFest on Sunday, December 3, 2017. This event is the perfect way to start the holiday season, and to introduce family and friends to University Circle.
From 1:00-5:30 p.m., more than a dozen of University Circle’s renowned museums, gardens, galleries, churches, and schools open their doors free of charge and offer an afternoon of activities, music, food, fun, and shopping. Visitors can look forward to live performances from talented musicians, craft making, historic displays of holiday toys, storytelling, live animals, the city’s best gingerbread house competition, and much more. Looking for the perfect holiday gift? There’s no better place to shop than Holiday CircleFest.
Outside, Wade Oval becomes Cleveland’s Central Park with ice carving demonstrations, horse drawn carriage rides, and The Rink at Wade Oval (from Noon-7:00 p.m.; weather permitting). From 5:30-6:00 p.m., the activities will conclude with The Cleveland Museum of Art’s dramatic Winter Lights Lantern Procession.
FREE Holiday CircleFest Shuttle
Getting around Holiday CircleFest is easy with the free shuttle bus! Simply hop on where you see the red signs, ride the shuttle to your desired destination, then hop off. A full loop on the shuttle takes approximately 30 minutes. A map and a list of shuttle stops can be found in the program.
NEW: Ride the CircleLink to the Little Italy Holiday Art Walk
Take the CircleLink to Little Italy and explore its shops, galleries, and restaurants during the Holiday Art Walk. CircleLink is a free circulator service that runs throughout the neighborhood. To get to Little Italy, hop on a CircleLink bus at the Cleveland Museum of Natural History, Cleveland Museum of Art, on Ford Road, or at the Little Italy-University Circle Red Line Rapid Station. A full loop on the CircleLink takes approximately 30 minutes. A map can be found in the program.
