Spend your lunch hour hearing from Cleveland Institute of Art Painting faculty member Tony Ingrisano as he discusses a variety of projects undertaken during a recent sabbatical at Lunch on Fridays from 12:15 to 1:30pm Friday, April 5 in CIA's Peter B. Lewis Theater.
Tony Ingrisano is an artist whose work investigates the social and environmental structures that surround us, and looks for new ways of visualizing these organizations. His large-scale paintings and drawings utilize visual frameworks of roadways, runways, cityscapes, nautical charts and more to create new vistas, which fluctuate between abstraction and the familiar. Ingrisano received an MFA from Pratt Institute in 2008. His work has been exhibited in group and solo exhibitions in New York and Cleveland.
Parking: Lunch on Fridays attendees may park in any of CIA's parking lots: Lot 73, Lot 74 and the Annex Lot, all of which surround our campus. Please note that signs posted around those lots correctly state that parking typically requires a CIA permit or visitor pass and that violators will be ticketed. However, to accommodate our valued Lunch on Fridays attendees, that policy won't be enforced during the program. Have questions?
