Actress, and performer, Robin Pease will re-enact Lucy Bagby on the front porch of the Cozad Bates House. Lucy Bagby was the last fugitive freedom seeker to be returned to her “owner” before the beginning of the Civil War. She was returned from Cleveland after a long and heated debate among Cleveland’s abolitionist community about what to do. Come and find out what happened to Lucy Bagby.
