Join us for the 18th Annual White Cane Walk on Saturday, June 3!
The event features a one mile walk around Wade Lagoon and includes family-friendly activities, face painting, crafts, games, a balloon artist, DJ, music and dancing, tasty treats and more!
Participants will also be able to use a white cane under blindfold with the help of one of our certified orientation and mobility instructors who teach people how to navigate using a white cane.
A variety of food options will available at the event including: ice cream, hot dogs, snacks and beverages.
Help us reach our $55,000 goal in support of Cleveland Sight Center – where we believe the quality of one’s sight does not determine the quality of one’s life. Funds raised will support the programs, tools and trainings that allow individuals to navigate the visual world.
Join us by:
- Walking: Register to walk with us on Saturday, June 3 at Cleveland Sight Center’s Main Campus. $25/per walker includes an event t-shirt! Your $25 registration fee will go towards our overall $55,000 goal amount.
- Fundraising: Register to walk and start a fundraising team so family and friends can join you or donate to your team.
- Donating: Can’t make it to the walk? Don’t worry! You can still support White Cane Walk by clicking donate now. You can choose to donate to an existing team as well. Either way - your donation goes towards our $55,000 goal!
Schedule:
- 9:00 am: Check in opens, walk-up registration and activities begin
- 10:00 am: Welcome followed by the one mile walk
- 12:00 pm: Event ends
