Focus Areas for Capacity Building

The Strategic Plan identified five focus areas for the capacity building required for success.

  • Build upon UCI’s management and staff capabilities by adding new positions to support the Strategic Plan
  • Strengthen the diversity of the Board of Trustees and its governance structures
  • Refine UCI’s current financial model to increase the annual operating budget
  • Strengthen UCI’s relationships with funders, including foundations, corporations and individuals
  • Intensify communications efforts and develop a highly compelling brand for University Circle
