Skaters glide on Oval's new rink

Skaters, take heart. Scientists and the folks who run Cleveland's University Circle have teamed up to make an outdoor rink a reality.

Dozens of gleeful skaters turned out Sunday for the ribbon-cutting of the Rink at Wade Oval, an environmentally friendly faux ice surface composed of a silicone-based polymer that looks and feels like ice without the slush or cracking of the real thing. Click here to read more.
