University Hospitals Case Medical Center is the flagship facility of the University Hospitals health system. Case Medical Center is a 947-bed academic medical center and tertiary-care hospital that is ranked by U.S. News & World Report as one of America's best hospitals. It comprises three centers of excellence: Ireland Cancer Center, MacDonald Women’s Hospital, and Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital. University Hospitals Case Medical Center is also home to The Center for Clinical Research, the largest medical research center in Ohio.
