CLA’s mission is to prepare its middle school students to lead in academics, service, and civic engagement during high school, college, and beyond. Its curriculum is designed to prepare students to succeed in rigorous college prep high schools, and then in college and in the 21st century job market. The curriculum is a synergistic approach based on two discrete learning models: Core Skill Building and Expeditionary Learning. Through this two-pronged educational model, CLA students will be well prepared for the Ohio state tests, and they will also be well grounded in the critical 21st century skills framework.

Cleveland School of the Arts (CSA) is a specialty arts school in the Cleveland Metropolitan School District (CMSD) currently serving students in grades 7-12. CSA is known for its strengths in both academics and arts. 

Established in 1981, CSA incorporates all aspects of the arts into its teaching approach. The school offers a joint-college preparatory academic and a pre-professional arts program in seven majors: Dance, Instrumental Music (Orchestra & Band), Vocal Music, Literary Arts, Photography, Theatre, and Visual Arts. One hundred percent of graduating seniors apply to and are accepted into institutions of higher education.

The Gestalt Institute of Cleveland (GIC) was established in 1954 by some of the earliest students of Fritz Perls, Laura Perls, Isadore Fromm, and Paul Goodman. Today, GIC is the world's largest institute, and one of the finest, for the study, development, and application of Gestalt theory. Its professional and personal development programs draw participants from all over the world. GIC faculty and graduates innovatively apply Gestalt principles to psychotherapy as well as to business, health care, educational, governmental, community, and religious organizations. GIC offers workshops, professional training programs, and conferences through the Training and Human Development Programs, and is affiliated with the Gestalt International Study Center/Center for the Study of Intimate Systems.
