Fund Development Associate
Main Responsibilities
- Data entry, edits, financial reporting, queries, reports, and provide periodic updates to core constituency groups.
- Seek and secure a student volunteer intern from Mandel Center or another community organization to conduct stakeholder/prospect address research and assist with all mailings.
- Carry out corporate, individual, and foundation research to support all UCI led fundraising activities and guide grant development and submissions.
- Produce mailing lists and merge mailings. Manage and participate in all major mailings including, but not limited to Annual Sustaining Fund, Joe Piggott, event invitations, and miscellaneous donor and donor prospect mailings.
- Assist in preparing support materials for proposals, interim and final reports, maintaining hard copy and database files.
- Assist with corporate and other donor sponsor fulfillment activities and approvals.
- Participate in developing stakeholder correspondence and grant writing as needed and directed.
- Attend and staff donor and organizational events as requested.
- Engage in donor relations activities and other meetings as needed including developing and delivering presentations.
- Serve as an overall administrative support for staff.
Qualifications
- Communicate clearly both verbally to audiences and in writing;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Word, Excel and Power Point and Sage Fundraising software
