Nikita Mndoyants, Mixon First Prize winner at the 2016 Cleveland International Piano Competition, returns to Cleveland to preview his Carnegie Hall debut later this summer! Come and hear why the jury made him their number one choice and the Plain Dealer’s Zachary Lewis described his final round performance as “pure elegance.” Mr. Mndoyants will present a glorious program of solo works by Beethoven and Prokofiev, as well as Schumann’s magnificent Piano Quintet in E-flat Major, Op. 44 with the Omni Quartet (Cleveland Orchestra members Amy Lee, Alicia Koelz, Joanna Zakany, and Tanya Ell).
