Wade Oval Winter is University Circle's way of celebrating the snowy months of the year!

Lace up your skates and enjoy the fresh ice at The Rink at Wade Oval! 
Open November 28 until March 8
$2 to skate, $3 skate rentals
Student discount: $1 to skate and $2 for skate rentals 
Weekend hours of operation in  January/February/March. 
Fridays: 3pm - 9pm  
Saturdays: Noon-7pm 
Sundays: Noon-5pm
Open on MLK & Presidents Day: Noon-7pm


Learn to Skate for Free:  Every Saturday at Noon  

Figure Skating Performances  Winterhurst Skate Club: January 31 at 1pm
Strongsville Skate Club: February 7 at 1pm  

Movie Nights on January 24 & February 21.  Movies start at 5pm.
January 24: Captain America The Winter Soldier
February 21: Frozen Sing-Along 

Valentine's Day "Pink the Rink" - February 14.

Snowman-Making Contest - ongoing throughout January & February.  Build a snowman on Wade Oval, take a photo and use #wadeovalwinter or post on our Facebook page.  Best snowman wins a weekend package in the Circle including a nights stay, passes to attractions and restaurant certificates.
After you’re done skating, show your rink wristband for special promotions at Cleveland Botanical Garden ($2 off), Cleveland Museum of Art (10% off at Provenance Cafe), Cleveland Museum of Natural History ($2 off includes access to Mammoths & Mastodons: Titans of the Ice Age), and Western Reserve Historical Society ($2 off includes 2 free rides on the Euclid Beach Park Carousel).
