Marjorie Garber is the William R. Kenan, Jr., Professor of English and Visual and Environmental Studies at Harvard University, and the "revolution" to which her lecture address is the change in what parts of the populace read, know, and engage with Shakespeare over the last 100 years, together with some predictive remarks about the future of the humanities/future of Shakespeare studies.
