As a docent you will be trained to introduce the art and ideas of our time to a wide array of visitors, leading interactive tours, facilitating educational programs, and often meeting the exhibiting artists. Only active commitment is required to join this highly passionate and specialized group of volunteers.
We also have many general volunteer opportunities, giving you the chance to do anything and everything: greet visitors, work in ARTspace (our unique gift store), assist with office work, and help with public programming and exciting special events.
In appreciation of their time and energy, MOCA volunteers and docents receive FREE membership to MOCA Cleveland entitling them to free parking, free admission to the galleries, invitations to all openings and special events, the seasonal newsletter and other program announcements as well as a 10% discount to ARTspace
