HIV Program Clerk
Part-time 20 hours/week
Salary commensurate with skills and experience
• Program Support: Makes reminder calls to clients for the Early Intervention Program and Dental Clinic appointments. Makes follow up calls to “no show” clients. Contacts lab as needed to follow up on missing lab results/reports and to check on status of lab results. Assists HIV Programs Associate Director in communications with state ODAP pharmacy and Ohio department of health. Completes daily client logs and other forms in a timely manner. Makes copies of all forms. Create and maintain medical charts.
• Administrative Support: Files related paperwork in patient’s chart. Removes outdated documentation and places it in archives files in storage area. Performs quality assurance of charts to ensure that case management records are complete. Assures that Title I intake forms are filled out for all new clients and revision forms are filled out for any existing client with changes in data. Creates and files computerized updates with Title I agency, with paper follow up. Using Title I Intake forms assist Data Clerk with maintaining Early Intervention Program caseload report.
• Other Duties: Attends departmental and Free Clinic all-staff meeting. Contributes to departmental and organizational decision-making through active participation in the process. Works effectively and positively with co-workers and volunteers. Other duties, as assigned by supervisor.
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Two or more years related work experience
• Willingness to work with HIV+ population
• Excellent organizational skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
