From the east via I-90
Exit at Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard. Go south for 2.2 miles to the East 105th traffic light; cross East 105th and follow the signage for directions to your destination.

From the east via I-80 (Ohio Turnpike - From Eastern Ohio and Pennsylvania)
Take the Ohio Turnpike (I-80) to I-480 West (Exit 187.) Merge on to I-271 North. Exit at Cedar Road. Follow Cedar Road westbound for approximately 6 miles toward Cleveland. Cedar Road turns downhill into Cedar Glen Parkway. Continue under the RTA/Norfolk Southern railroad bridge and veer to the right at the next light on Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. Follow the signage for directions to your destination.

From the west via the Ohio Turnpike (Interstate 80)
Exit at Exit 142 and follow I-90 east. Exit at Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard. Proceed south for 2.2 miles to the East 105th traffic light; cross East 105th and follow the signage for directions to your destination.

From the south via I-71
Proceed north until I-71 merges with I-90. Take I-90 east to the Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard exit. Proceed south for 2.2 miles to the East 105th traffic light; cross East 105th and follow the signage for directions to your destination.

From the south via I-77
Proceed north until I-77 merges with I-90. Take I-90 east to the Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard exit. Proceed south for 2.2 miles to the East 105th traffic light; cross East 105th and follow the signage for directions to your destination.

Alternate route through downtown Cleveland
Any of the above directions can be altered if desired by taking I-90 into downtown Cleveland and exiting on Chester Avenue. Head east on Chester for 3 miles to Euclid Avenue (just past E. 105th Street). Turn left onto Euclid and follow signage for directions to your destination.

By Air
Book your flight into Cleveland Hopkins International Airport and take the Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority (GCRTA) Rapid Transit Red Line train eastbound to the University Circle (Cedar-University) station. Visit the GCRTA website for a Red Line map and schedule.

By Bus
GCRTA has more than 10 routes that run to and through University Circle.  Visit the GCRTA website for maps and schedules of each route or check out the RTA's One Pass Trip to University Circle for a handy guide to using transit to get around.

Several free shuttles operate in the Circle, including the CircleLink, which operates 7 days a week and will get you to most destinations.  CircleLink even has an online schedule tool that provides riders with up-to-the-minute NextBus information.

If you are coming in from out-of-town, the Greyhound bus depot serves both Greyhound and Trailways and is located in downtown Cleveland on Chester Avenue, near East 14th Street. Taxis are available and the RTA #4 and #38 bus routes are located one block north on Payne Avenue. You can connect to the #6, #7 and #9 bus routes by walking one block south to Euclid Avenue. Each of these routes passes through University Circle.

By Train
GCRTA's Red Line has two stations in University Circle - East 120th Street and Cedar-University.  Cedar-University Station has direct connections to multiple free shuttle buses (see above).

If you arriving via AMTRAK in downtown Cleveland, take the RTA Waterfont Blue Line train to Tower City and transfer to a Red Line train eastbound for University Circle. (Visit the GCRTA website for maps and schedules of these routes.) Multiple free University Circle shuttle buses (see above) connect the station to the district. Taxis are also available at the AMTRAK station.

By Bike
Many University Circle destinations feature their own bike racks. In addition, the City of Cleveland’s City Racks program is in the process of expanding the network of secure racks throughout the Circle, making this one of Cleveland’s most bicycle friendly neighborhoods.
