Employment OpportunitiesThe Cleveland Hearing & Speech Center is seeking Speech-Language Pathologists to provide a variety of communication services to a diverse population in one of several different settings (three outpatient offices, Head Start, schools).Job Title Speech-Language Pathologist Hours Full-time 40 hour/week Scheduled hours are highly individualized and flexible, ranging from 8:30 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.; no weekends Main Responsibilities • Assist children and/or adults learn new skills • Assist children with apraxia, articulation/phonology, augmentative/alternative communication devices, autism, hearing loss, language-learning disabilities, speech-language delay/disorder, or stuttering • Assist adults with aphasia, TBI, voice/speech disorders associated with Parkinson’s disease and other neurological disorders, augmentative/alternative communication devices (especially adults who have ALS), or those who wish to improve pronunciation of English as a second language, or enhance professional communication skills • Collaborate with a knowledgeable team of talented clinicians Qualifications Specialty skills that would fit clients’ needs, but are not necessary credentials for employment, would include • AVT certification • LSVT certification • Hanen certification • Wilson certification • Fluency specialist • Fluency in Spanish Please direct resume, letter of interest, and references to Michelle L.
